Sideways is probably the best written, most brilliantly acted version of the classic “bachelor party gone awry” plot you‘ll ever see. Set in the beautiful wine country around Santa Barbara, CA, two men muddle through discovering themselves before one of them gets married. Hugely popular when it came out, Sideways won an Academy Award for screenwriting, and was nominated for a handful of others. This is one wedding movie everyone will enjoy. Best served with a chardonnay.

With some wedding florists, the planning experience feels like “leave a wedding at the beep.” They ask about wedding colors, time, date, and if you’re lucky, flowers you like. My Little Flower Shop veers away from a more traditional, by the numbers wedding planning consultation. We (gasp) listen. Another florist might ask, “what flowers do you like?” and take down 
“lily, rose.” We notice whether or not a couple knows flowers, and talk about new ones they might love. A bouquet shouldn’t be limited to flowers a person can name – this isn’t a botany quiz. If you aren’t a Palm Springs florist, how would you know that succulents are gorgeous in a desert wedding bouquet? We’re here to see your ideas, help get them out of your head and into a beautiful wedding. We want to know you, not just your colors.
