Tuesday Reviews-Day! App – FlipBoard

Apps have become part of our lives- and part of planning weddings.  One we love for help keeping up with all our other sites and blogs is FlipBoard.  A sort of “magazine” that you create, FlipBoard can be customized to contain the sources of information and entertainment you need and want. They have different categories, or you can choose to get content from a particular source, including your own Twitter and Facebook pages.  Everything comes in one app, in a unique “flippable” format that’s very easy to navigate. Our sources include The Knot, Travel & Leisure magazine (handy for Honeymoon ideas) Martha Stewart Living, a style section FlipBoard puts together for us, our social media pages, and so on.  Check out FlipBoard, and see if the format pulls together disparate sources for you!

Wedding planning and time management

As kids, time moves like molasses.  Between birthdays was an eternity! When weddings are scheduled far in advance, they seem far away (sometimes literally)– but this is grown up stuff folks- the months will slip through your fingers like sand.

The trick is to keep the kid in you alive!  Remember how special it was to anticipate your birthday party, and try to embrace that feeling over the stress of details and family nonsense.  Remember- you’re doing all of this to marry the love of your life!  And it’s going to be amazing.

Be well, and love well.
