Secret recipe for a happy marriage
OK, so it’s a recipe for asparagus. But it helped make dinner easier at our house, and hey – what makes for happier marriages than less time over the stove? Serve up this side dish, bring out the good china and a few candles and poof! Wednesday night chicken becomes a romantic dinner for two.
Happy Marriage Asparagus

1 bunch asparagus, olive oil, salt, pepper.
Preheat oven to 375.
Wash asparagus and pat dry with a paper towel.
Line a rimmed baking sheet with tin foil, spread asparagus out in a single layer.
drizzle olive oil (1-2 tsp) over asparagus. Gently shake baking sheet to coat asparagus.
Sprinkle asparagus with salt & pepper to taste.
bake at 375 for 9-11 minutes, until asparagus is bright green and tender but not crispy at ends.
Enjoy!
